This customer had a commercial kitchen where the tile grout had failed and they were very concerned about the bacteria that was harbored in these areas. We began by demoing the tile, profiling the concrete and troweling in 6” cove base. Applying a ¼” cementitious urethane solution, we created a monolithic floor able to withstand the demands of a commercial kitchen. The seamless, anti-microbial, non-slip solution created a clean, durable, effective and safe solution for their busy kitchen.
