In a brewery, as in other food processing plants, cleanliness is of utmost importance.
The floor needs to defend against bacteria as well as be thermal shock resistant to be able to withstand the cleaning processes.
In this newly constructed brewery, Industrial Applications was called to remove tar, prep, and slope, trowel and coat the floor to create the ideal, functional environment for brewing beer.
The floors were pitched to drains to be able to effectively wash down the area, and the coatings used were USDA compliant and able to meet the needs of the customer. We sloped the floor with a SikaQuick 1000, overlayed with Florocrete HD 3.0 and topcoated with a Florowear 7100.
