Rehabilitating an existing facility can often be a more cost-effective alternative to building new, but bringing an aging manufacturing space back into service can require substantial work.
When a global manufacturer prepared to put an existing facility back into operation, they turned to Industrial Applications, Inc. to help rehabilitate the plant from the floor up.
TeamIA meticulously prepared 135,000 SF of existing concrete, completing the necessary repairs and patching before installing a two-coat clear epoxy flooring system.
But our work did not stop at the floor.
IA also installed two coats of alkyd dryfall throughout the facility’s ceiling space, helping give this aging manufacturing plant a fresh start and preparing the space for its next chapter of production.
Projects like this demonstrate what can be accomplished when the right preparation, systems, and experienced crews are brought together.
