When one of the largest equipment rental companies in the United States began building a new facility, they knew their flooring needed to do more than just look good. It had to perform under constant warehouse traffic while still creating a clean, professional environment in their office space.
That is when they reached out to Industrial Applications Inc.
Working closely with their team, we designed a polished concrete solution that balanced durability and appearance across two very different environments. In the office areas, we polished the concrete to an 800 grit high-gloss finish, creating a bright, reflective surface that enhances lighting and elevates the overall feel of the space. In the warehouse, we installed a 400 grit satin finish, delivering a more subtle look while providing the durability and slip resistance needed for daily operations.
The result is a flooring system that meets the demands of both spaces without compromise. From heavy equipment traffic to front office presentation, this project highlights how polished concrete can be customized to fit the real-world needs of a facility.
